Join Louise Marie and Jordan Ashley (founder of Souljourn Yoga Foundation) for a full day retreat to gently drop us into the slowness of winter.
Moving with the energy of the season as an invitation to slow down, to go inward, to descend into the Earth and embrace deep rest.
We will start the day with a Cacao Ceremony, working with our own inner seasons and calling on the wisdom of the darkness.
Jordan Ashley will guide an easeful and restorative yin yoga practice followed by a deeply neurochemical reset with yoga nidra.
After enjoying a hearty lunch by April of @nourishco we will wild craft seasona wreaths using homegrown and foraged herbs and foliage, working with the medicine and energetics of these plants, weaving each wreath with intention.
The Day Includes:
Cacao Ceremony
Yin Yoga
Wild Crafted Seasonal Wreaths
Hearty vegan lunch
Tea + Treats
Yoga Nidra + Drum Journey
Proceeds from this event will go to support Souljourn Yoga Foundation; a non-profit that creates transformational yoga retreats and teacher training programs to raise awareness and funds for young women’s education around the world. Our name is inspired by seva, the Sanskrit word for and yogic principle of selfless service (the soul), sojourn, which captures the essence of being in a place and time, and yoga, which is union, balance, and connection.
